" A Government of the People, by the People .... "

One of our most revered Presidents of our fabulous country uttered these words in his Gettysburg Address over a hundred and forty-six years ago. Senator Charles Sumner made a statement at Lincoln's eulogy that referred to the famous speech, when he called it a "monumental act." Sumner said that Lincoln was mistaken when Lincoln stated that "the world will little note, nor long remember what we say here." On the contrary, Sumner who was from Boston reflected, "The world noted at once what he said, and will never cease to remember it."

On January 19, 2010, Scott Brown won a seat that had been locked down by the Democratic Party since the 1970's. In an interview with David Broder, Scott #41 fielded a question that was meant to trap him, like the Pharisees who attempted to trap Jesus into blaspheming Caesar. Without hardly a wince, Brown schooled Broder like no one had done in a long time. He informed Broder that the Senate seat (that he was vying for) was ... not Teddy Kennedy's seat, but the PEOPLE'S SEAT.  On January 19, 2010, a home run left Fenway Park over the Green Monster.

I can say to Edward Markey (Congressman from Massachusetts)... you're next. Maybe you can run and hide in Barney Frank's basement, I hear it's cozy, and very convenient for washing your pants. I can say to Barney Frank... stand by. Barney you may want to run downstairs to the basement, I surmise that you will have company. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland is charged with managing the House Floor as well as scheduling legislation to be considered on the Floor. Steny, you're on life support. Let's forget about moving health care down the road. Instead, let's think of a depository that will shred it for the misguided document that it is.

The people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have spoken loudly. A shot heard round the world. The people of Massachusetts have listened to Lincoln's plea that dedicated to the living, the struggle to ensure that "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Hopefully their votes and resounding voices will re-awaken the people in the greatest nation on the earth, who for some inexplicable reason have remained on the sidelines as the parade has passed them by.

Our current president (who is being guided by his Chicago statists) has been leading the country down the primrose path toward a world that this nation has rejected not once but three times. The Progressive Party in U.S. History lost in the presidential elections of 1912, 1924, and 1948.

Additionally, the Socialist Party ran a candidate for president in 1900, 1916, 1928, 1952, and 1956. Each presidential candidate was soundly rejected by Americans.

A rather telling revelation of history tells us that the 1924 election saw the Progressive Party being supported by the Socialist Party. The party advocated government ownership of public utilities. In the 1948 election, Henry A. Wallace the Progressive candidate for president garnered support from the Communist Party. The Progressive Party disappeared after the 1952 election.

Barack aka Barry Obama is proud of his Progressive approach. Hilary considers herself a modern Progressive. Get the idea?

I have lifted this next passage or three from the Socialist playbook, and it reads as follows:.

The Socialist Party stands for the abolition of every form of domination and exploitation, whether based on social class (Hmmmmm... why is it that the rich are continually vilified by Socialistic followers)?, gender, race/ethnicity, age, education, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.

We are committed to the transformation of capitalism(why not play Robing Hood)? through the creation of a democratic socialist society based on compassion, empathy, and respect as well as the development of new social structures (Hmmmm... how many millions of people have been executed in these Socialistic countries)?  Socialism will establish a new social and economic order in which workers and community members will take responsibility for and control of their interpersonal relationships( Really? Why do Socialistic Party applications takeover the housing and feeding of the masses?) , their neighborhoods, their local government, and the production and distribution of all goods and services.

For these reasons we call for social ownership and democratic control of productive resources, for a guarantee to all of the right to participate in societal production, and to a fair share of society's product, in accordance with individual needs.

The Socialist Party recognizes the intimate link between racism and capitalism. Really? Making money and prospering in America is akin to being a racist?

Need I write anymore on why the American public at-large has soundly rejected the Progressive Party, The Socialist Party, and the Communist Party?

Does anyone have an issue with our current President who comes forward as a progressive that high jacked the Democratic Party? Obama's handlers cleverly used Barry and more importantly the Democratic Party to get their agenda rolling. Obama's handlers who believe in the principles of a former generation of Socialists have merely used the Democratic Party as their conduit to get their progressive ideas implemented. The Chicago gang has come into to town and have chased the marshal out of town. However, the marshal has been busy assembling a posse, one that will return to town and take back America from these vile, despicable haters of the American way. Scott Brown (Massachusetts), Chris Christie (New Jersey Governor), and Bob McDonnell (Virginia Governor) are the first three peace officers that have arrived into town in advance of the marshal. The American taxpayers and patriots are the marshal.

The current Obama gang (led by Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, William Ayers, Reverand Wright, Sol Lewinsky(from the grave), and let's not forget about America's poster boy and his award winning ideas ...George Soros) couldn't have done it without the assistance and enabling by the media. (Oh so sorry George about your quaint little Liberal Talk Radio Channel that just filed for bankruptsy). Our media has furthered the cause of a movement that has been rejected by the American public on numerous times.

If you are open-minded ...please start validating the continuous stream of mistruths, lies, drivel, and distortions that permeate the pages of the majority of newspapers throughout our great nation. Hundreds of thousands of people and more, from sea to shining sea, have long ago figured it out that the main stream media has an agenda of their own. Rather than reporting the news in a straight forward and honest way, they have instead decided to color the news in a way that is more pleasing to their Socialistic, Liberal, or Communistic eyes. Is it any wonder that the mainstream media are losing their collective buttocks within their respective businesses.

Prior to the vote that shook the field of Political Science, the left-wing media were beside themselves at the prospect of Scott Brown taking over Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat in Massachusetts! Like rabid, liberal attack dogs, radical-minded talking heads like MSNBC’s Ed Schultz have even advocated electoral corruption.Schultz said, “If I lived in Massachusetts, I’d try to vote ten times. Now all I need is a quote from Chris Mathews of MSNBC... maybe (when he heard about the Massachusetts 2010 version of the shot heard round the world) he felt a tingle running down his leg.

Well America... Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey have spoken. I think their speech was deafening. What say you?

The marshal is on his way!!!

My old buddy Eugene Robinson is like a dog without a bark. Eugene's drivel is once again embarrassing himself and the Washington Post. According to Robinson .... President Barack Obama is the one who must make the decision on how to proceed with the war in Afghanistan, not the generals. He further states that the generals should shut up and salute, and that's after he writes that he has enormous respect for the general's patriotism and service. He gives them the same respect that Senator "I worked hard for my position" Boxer gave to the general at a Senate hearing a few month ago.

General Stanley McChrystal the commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan (according to Robinson) is entitled to his opinion about the best way to proceed going forward. According to Eugene, McChrystal (whose reputation and job is on the line, as are the precious human beings known as our military men and woman, to be as successful a commander as he can be) should be making his push for more troops to Obama candidly, in private.

Well Robinson... that's exactly what McChrystal did in August of this year. Now moving forward to September, nothing had been done. Obama's lack of leadership continues to surface as he barnstorms around the world criticizing out country, and not making the decisions that presidents are paid to do. Obama muttered those famous words to make himself appear to be tough when he was running for president to-wit: Afghanistan was a war of necessity. I agree Mr. President.

Ok, hello Barack! The call at 3 in the morning has come, why aren't you answering it?

Robinson continues to natter that what needs to be achieved in Afghanistan is a political question, and that we don't pay generals to do politics. He says "that's the job of the president and the Congress..." Ok Barack, and the Congress do you think the Taliban is going to wait for the big decision to be made by a man who in his entire life hasn't run a lemonade stand on the corner? And anyone who thinks politics can be separated from the military in a situation SUCH as this, is as naive as our impervious leader is on world affairs. Really though, what can we expect from someone who thinks there are 57 states in our USA?

Now finally, Robinson points out that it would be dereliction of duty for the president not to consider alternatives to the issue of sending more troops to the theatre known as Afghanistan. Hmmm!

Now Robinson shows his overall ignorance of the history lesson in Afghanistan vis-a-vis that the Russians placed huge numbers of troops into the area and got a failed result for dominance. That part of his idea is factual since they never defeated the locals, but exacted a pound of flesh that ruined the next generation of potentially able bodied men. Please explain to Eugene that we are not there in Afghanistan for dominance.

To compare 1980's warfare with modern day technologies is foolhardiness. Someone explain it to Robinson at the next latte guzzling. Calculating and calibrating the proper U.S.military presence is a high-stakes exercise Robinson.... one best performed by the professionals in the uniforms that bear the little stars on their shoulders, and not a community organizer, who is all too busy and preoccupied listening to the Chicago seven calling the shots from a scurrilous playbook.

Eugene, isn't it refreshing when a reporter asks a professional soldier a question with regards to the allocation of troops and gets an honest answer, one that comes quickly without pause, or a dozen UMMS followed by a carefully measured answer ala Barack Hussein Obama?

If privacy is what you want Robinson for the tet-a-tet between the allied commander and the president... I can live with it. Unfortunately, that's exactly what went down, but far be it for me to confuse you with the facts. What McChrystal didn't know then (August 2009) was that he was dealing with a greenhorn, one that couldn't make a decision if his life depended on it. Too bad the lives of our precious troops are the ones that are laying down their lives.
